PANTRY GARDEN
The Pantry Garden consists of a greenhouse, a shed and twenty five growing beds of which all but two are raised beds. The actual growing area is approximately 2,440 square feet.
We grow a variety of vegetables including lettuce,carrots, radishes, Swiss chard, beets, turnips,tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, peppers, beans, sweetpotatoes and many different squashes. Thevegetables are picked regularly and delivered toone of the seven food pantries we serve. In 2023 wedelivered 2075 pounds of produce.
Our personal garden bed members are asked tovolunteer four hours of their time over the courseof the growing season, to help with care andmaintenance of the pantry garden.Help us provide healthy and nutritious food to those in need.
